Purpose of the Trip

With 28 days left before we depart for Ghana, my colleagues and I work daily to prepare for our global partnership between HPISD and the Ahafo-Ano South District, in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. I will be traveling along with two colleagues, Elizabeth Perkins and Andrea Crane, in hopes of identifying ways we can connect our students with theirs; so, this trip is really our students. Everything we do will be to create opportunities for them to learn about the societies that make up our world, while practicing their global leadership and problem-solving skills. All so exciting.
